Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare guest accommodation and site facilities as instructed, including covering cleaning in the Suites and Boathouse as required.

• Ensure that all areas are cleaned thoroughly and maintained to the highest standard, e.g. polished, swept, dusted, mopped, hoovered, beds changed, bathrooms and windows cleaned, etc.

• Ensure that the correct cleaning products are used as per the Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure that you are fully aware of each product and its uses. Maintain statutory awareness and understanding of how this impacts your job such as ensuring that you are up to date with COSHH requirements.

• Keep all housekeeping areas clean and tidy at all times.

• Count dirty linen before sending off to the laundry, ensure that bags are closed up ready for the collection. Count and put away clean linen daily.

• Ensure a good eye for detail with a passion for delivering very high standards of customer service, ensure that the protocol for entering guest accommodation is followed.

• Liaise closely with Reception with regards to daily room status and ensure the correct and most efficient allocation of rooms takes place. Prioritise rooms by completing Guest Check Out/Arrivals first.

• Ensure the security of the Hotel and guests’ property following the lost property procedure as required.
